Upcoming
IgNation on April 17th lands on Holy Thursday. That day the Church celebrates The Last Supper. We invite all participants to join the mass and stay for the Adoration after mass until midnight.
At IgNation we want to offer opportunities to put our hands into the service of others. We call these days “Service Days” Our next opportunity involves cleaning a park from litter
It will Take place on Saturday April 26th during the morning, 9am to 11:00 am. We will be going to Falaise St. Jaques to clean the park from litter. Bring gloves.
We’ll be meeting at entrance to the Falaise St. Jacques that is just east of Quilles G Plus St. Jacques (corner of St. Jacques and Cavendish) and behind Marché Akhavan You can park in the Maxi parking lot and walk towards Cavendish. The entrance to the park is located just past the bowling alley. Click here to go to maps
This activity is open to everyone, so if parents and/or friends of the participants want to come they are more than welcome. We just need them to register so we know who is coming. If that is the case, when registering just click on “I’m a friend or relative” in the level section.
At IgNation, we offer opportunities for the youth to disconnect from their day-to-day lives and have a moment of prayer and community. We offer these opportunities as IgNation retreats. The next retreat will take place FOR LEVEL 2&3 (Sec 1-CEGEP) on Saturday May 3 (10am) to Sunday May 4th (10am, we finish with Mass) in the hall of the church, doing a stay overnight indoor camping. The retreat is mandatory for those preparing for their sacraments.
It is not mandatory to stay overnight if they or the parents don’t feel comfortable. They can leave on Saturday night and return for breakfast on Sunday morning.

Healing.
This week we are going to talk about healing and we are going to watch a talk by Sister Myriam James.
These are some of the questions we are going to ask:
– Think of yourself as the beggar in the Chosen scene. If Jesus asks you what is something you want to be healed from
– What is something that stood out to you from the video so far?
– What is an area in your life where you know what you are doing is wrong, and you still do it?
Is God Real?
Through the coming weeks, you will find here the questions we will be discussing with the kids.
These are some of the questions we are going to ask:
- If you met God at a party and you knew he would answer any question you asked, what would you ask him?
- What would be the difference between interacting with God as an unconscious force or object versus interacting with him as a person?
- What would/does a relationship with God look like in your own life?
- In what ways do you feel God’s presence in your life?
- How does knowing that God wants to love us individually change the way that we pray?
- In what ways do you find it difficult to have a relationship with God?
Weekly
