The Loop – Creativity

This week we will share a video of The Loop that talks about Truth.

These are the questions we are going to ask:

  • Why do we say the things God creates are good?
  • Why do you think God created so many different kinds of things?
  • Read Ephesians 5:8-11 NIV.
For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light— for the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true. Try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.
  • What do you think this verse means when it says we should live “as children of light”?
  • When we choose to sin, how does it mess up the good things God created?
  • Think of someone you know who displays God’s goodness in a bright way. What’s your favorite thing about them?

Healing.

This week we are going to talk about healing and we are going to watch a talk by Sister Myriam James.

These are some of the questions we are going to ask:

– Think of yourself as the beggar in the Chosen scene. If Jesus asks you what is something you want to be healed from

– What is something that stood out to you from the video so far?

– What is an area in your life where you know what you are doing is wrong, and you still do it?

Is God Real?

Through the coming weeks, you will find here the questions we will be discussing with the kids.

These are some of the questions we are going to ask:

  • If you met God at a party and you knew he would answer any question you asked, what would you ask him?
  • What would be the difference between interacting with God as an unconscious force or object versus interacting with him as a person?
  • What would/does a relationship with God look like in your own life?
  • In what ways do you feel God’s presence in your life?
  • How does knowing that God wants to love us individually change the way that we pray?
  • In what ways do you find it difficult to have a relationship with God?
