What is Revive?
Revive is a 4 day getaway inspired by Alpha, that explores faith and the meaning of life.
Who’s Revive for?
Revive is for young adults ages 18 to 30 who are curious about the meaning of life. Whether you are heading back to school, working, or that you are just wondering what is your next step in your life, Revive is an opportunity to explore those big life questions through fellowship and discussions with peers asking similar questions.
How does it work?
During the weekend we will have a series of interactive lectures, activities and discussions animated by our team of young adults. The goal of these presentations are to encourage people to engage in self-reflection, to learn more about themselves and to promote self-growth. The presentations examine various topics through a Christian lens and provide tools for the participants to lead a driven and purpose-filled life. Some topics include:
-Discovering faith and spirituality
-Identifying meaning in the everyday
-Long-term goal-setting and planning
Where does it take place?
Revive will take place outdoors camping style. The location is to be determined. The idea is to leave from St. Ignatius on a Thursday, at 8am.
Further details will be provided closer to the date.
We will return to St. Ignatius around 8pm on the Sunday.
How much is it?
The cost is $300, but money should never be a barrier – if you are not able to pay the complete amount, pay what you can now, and the rest later. Or, request a bursary for the rest. The cost includes everything, transportation, lodging, meals, snacks, material, etc. with a daily cost of $75 , all inclusive.
