We are pleased to welcome Fr. Garrick Huang to our growing family here at St. Ignatius and St. Willibrord. Originally from Vancouver and ordained in 2010, Fr. Garrick has been serving the past two years in Lac Mégantic, Québec. He had previously been in Montreal at St. Irénée parish in the St. Henri neighbourhood. He has a lot of experience and most importantly, a heart to serve the Church in Quebec and bring more people to an encounter with the Lord. Fr. Garrick will be serving as Associate Pastor in both parishes and is keen to learn about developing a missional approach to ministry and leading.
Please join me in welcoming Fr. Garrick to our communities and I ask you to pray for him as he assumes his new role.
