A lot goes on behind the scenes (and screens!) to make sure that those living outside of Montreal or who are homebound or perhaps just curious about church can experience the awesomeness of Mass together with the community present in the building. Training provided!

On of our goals as a parish is to be as welcoming as possible, and allowing newcomers and parishioners alike with the opportunity to follow Mass and sing along by referring to our screens is a big part of this! Join this ministry operate the slides and/or prepare them in advance.

Music has the potential to uplift any prayer – or to derail it entirely! We dream of a music ministry that transports everyone’s prayerful moments to heights of Heaven itself with great skill, prayerfulness, and beauty. Don’t worry, start where you are, and be trained to become excellent. 

Visitors make their mind up about church within the first 7 minutes of their visit. Our genuine smile, preparedness, and warmth makes all the difference in whether someone chooses to ever come back or not. Make an impression that lasts. 

Ordinarily, the Clergy alone distribute Communion at Mass. Extraordinarily, it could be you!

The Word of God became flesh. That means what we read at Mass is Jesus! How we read sets the tone to prepare people to receive Jesus in the Eucharist. This is an important role! God equips the called, He doesn’t call the equipped. Do you feel called?

Be the first person to welcome people ‘from the front’. Set the tone of warmth, familiarity, and also reverence. Learn speaking skills, lead by example, and become friends with a ton of people all at once!

If you have the gift of working with children, then we want to meet you! There are many areas to get involved…from Catch the Wave, our Sunday children’s program, to the Good Shepherd Atrium, to sacramental prep, we’re always looking for talented members to join our ministry.
